The Heart Behind Our Family Foundations

In 2024, Margaret and Ray Grech began noticing growing unrest in families, especially among children in schools. They felt a strong need to support parents—giving them a safe place to share their concerns, learn how to protect their children, and deal with the new challenges causing division in families.

To respond to this, they invited a speaker from abroad to give a seminar titled “Right-Side-Up Parenting in an Upside-Down World.” The event was very well received. Parents felt empowered, encouraged, and safe to voice their struggles.

 

The question that followed was: How can we continue helping parents? Seeking wisdom, Margaret and Ray took counsel from trusted people of integrity. From this guidance, and with the dedication of a diverse team who shared the same vision, the idea of creating a foundation was born—a foundation to strengthen families and improve communication both within the home and with others who share similar concerns.

 

With God’s grace, faithful support, and generous contributions of time and finances, Our Family Foundations Foundation was established. The purpose is to return to God’s original intent for family—helping each member grow into the person they were created to be. Through further seminars and resources, we want to equip families to build healthy boundaries that protect children and nurture strong relationships.

 

Our vision for the future is to see families in Malta and Gozo that are strong, united, and unafraid to speak openly about the foundational rights of parents to protect and guide their children. We want to create a safe space where parents can learn from one another, share experiences, and benefit from the wisdom of competent speakers who can help us fulfil God’s purpose for our families and communities.
